Community Legal Centres Queensland (CLCQ) is undertaking a project to develop a 10-year sector plan.

This plan will be used to

• Tell a compelling ‘story’ about the sector’s aspirations over the next 10 years through a shared vision and purpose  

• Provide a framework for collaborative action within the sector  

• Inform the sector’s policy advocacy with government  

• Position the sector to negotiate proactively in the development of the next Queensland Legal Assistance Strategy and Action Plan  

• Identify specific short and medium-term inititiatives for the sector, which could be reviewed and updated at regular interviews over the life of the plan. 

This project was launched at the 2025 Community Legal Centres Queensland Conference in June 2025 with further consultation and engagement to take place throughout the second half of 2025.
